The biggest upset of the week belonged to Stuart Hall, who took down 43rd ranked Stuart Hall, 58-28. Matthew Murphy threw for 188 yards and five touchdowns and ran for 35 yards in the win.
Woodside Priory extended the longest winning streak in Mission Trail (8 Man) this week by beating Anzar, 44-26. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Panthers.
Gabe Bautista was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 122 yards on 18 carries as Alma Heights Christian fell to Trinity Christian. Joshua Cayetano also contributed to the rushing game with 60 yards on the ground.
Daniel Messier made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Eagles fell to the Warriors. The 5-foot-8 defensive lineman recorded one fumble.
Bautista was the best wideout in the league this week as Alma Heights Christian lost to Trinity Christian. Bautista racked up seven receptions for 120 yards. Warren Ko helped Alma Heights Christian's passing attack out by catching two balls for 66 yards.
Shaumbee Wright's team's Andrew Ducusin and Dre Perez have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Mission Trail (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Ducusin has thrown for 1315 yards this season, while Perez has 44 catches for 802 yards. James McDaniel from Woodside Priory leads the league in rushing with 1187 yards.
