Malone was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 61 yards. Demarion "Lil Man" Teagle was another key contributor, picking up 89 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Franny Buckley went supernova for Shelbyville, rushing for 114 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 233 yards and three touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Dylan Parker, who picked up 167 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
San Augustine has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Shelbyville, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-2.
