After a string of five wins, the Douglas Tigers's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 59-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bartlett. Douglas has struggled against Bartlett recently, as their matchup on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Douglas still got an impressive performance from Colton Howard, who scored 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Howard has scored all season. Owen Gray was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Douglas' defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6. As for Bartlett, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-9.
Douglas will square off against Sutton at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bartlett, they will head out on the road to square off against Prouty at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Prouty is coming into the contest with four straight victories at home, meaning Bartlett will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
