The Redmond Mustangs will venture away from home to square off against the Woodinville Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Redmond 4, Woodinville 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Redmond took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They came out on top against Liberty by a score of 7-2. The win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won six in a row.

Ainsley Barcalow spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Maggie Enich, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Aubrey Bauer was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Redmond kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Woodinville came tearing into Wednesday's match with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Knights 14-4. Considering the Falcons have won nine contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Addisen Hagen was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jane Ford, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Woodinville pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Redmond, their record is now 15-3-1.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Redmond has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .454. However, it's not like Woodinville struggles in that department as they've averaged .505. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
