A well-balanced attack led Regina Dominican over Hoffman Estates in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Regina Dominican Panthers blew the Hoffman Estates Hawks out of the water with a 54-19 final score. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 22 points or more this season.

Regina Dominican was led to victory by Olivia Fraterrigo and Jillian DeFranza. Fraterrigo went 8 of 13 en route to 17 points, while DeFranza went 5 for 11 on her way to 11 points and six assists. Fraterrigo continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Natalia Cerrado, who posted three points along with five rebounds and four steals.

The win made it two in a row for Regina Dominican and bumps their season record up to 16-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points over those games. As for Hoffman Estates, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-24 record this season.

Regina Dominican wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-36 victory against Lisle on the 8th. As for Hoffman Estates, they will face off against Wheeling at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hoffman Estates is facing Wheeling at the right time seeing as Wheeling is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
