After a string of four wins, Moorpark's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 69-58 to the Calabasas Coyotes. The Musketeers were not able to make up for their loss to the Coyotes from their previous meeting back in November of 2023.

Moorpark's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyson Howarth, who posted 14 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Logan Stotts, who put up 13 points and six rebounds.

Moorpark's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Calabasas, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Moorpark didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-68 win against Oaks Christian on the 7th. As for Calabasas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 77-72 victory against Hillcrest Christian on the 7th.
