At the plate, the team relied heavily on Conner Burns, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with three doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those three doubles gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Palos, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Eli Draper was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Draper was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
