Rockford East and Jefferson squared off in some playoff action  on Saturday, but Rockford East had to settle for second. They took  a  48-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jefferson J-Hawks. The E-Rabs' loss continues a  trend for the  squad, making it 17 in a row.

Rockford East's defeat dropped their record down to 2-28. As for Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to 5-27.
 Rockford East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jefferson, they will be playing at home against Huntley  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Huntley will roll in looking for their  32nd straight  victory, something Jefferson surely won't give up without a fight.
