After flying high against the University Prep Jaguars  last Thursday, Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy came back down to earth. Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy took a hard  90-71 fall against the Silver Knights on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  last Thursday (59), Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy still had to take the loss.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverside Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Raoul Churchill, who  shot 4-for-5  from beyond the arc and  almost  dropped  a double-double on 34 points and nine  assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which  Churchill has scored at least a third of Riverside Prep's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Marrion Brown, who  dropped  a double-double on 20 points and 12  rebounds.
 Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy now  has a losing record at 7-8. As for Riverside Prep, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-15 record this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Patriots at 7:30  p.m.  on February 2nd. Hesperia Christian knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully the  likes a good challenge. As for Riverside Prep, they will head out on the road to  square off against  the Bears at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Big Bear is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last 11 games.
