The Landstown Eagles were the 57-26 winner over the Ocean Lakes Dolphins when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Landstown fell 53-44 to Ocean Lakes on Tuesday.
Ocean Lakes found their leader in underclassman Samara Williams, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 15 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Olivia O'Neill, who scored 13 points.
Landstown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Ocean Lakes, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Landstown will head out on the road to face off against Princess Anne at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ocean Lakes, they will be playing at home against Salem at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
