Volleyball Recap: Lynbrook Has No Trouble Against Macdonald

Lynbrook won the last time they faced MacDonald and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Vikings put the hurt on the Condor with a sharp 3-0 victory. The contest marked the Vikings' most dominant win of the season.

Lynbrook was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 25-21.

Keyi Xue paced Lynbrook's offense, picking up 11 kills. Xue got some help from Jacey Tseng and her nine assists. Rucha Kore controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Lynbrook's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for MacDonald, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lynbrook is set to challenge their familiar foe Gunn at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, MacDonald will face off against rival Fremont at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
