Newman Came Up Big in Sevier County's 49-0 Win
Sevier County picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Cooper Newman. Daniel Boone had no answer to Newman as he threw for 240 yards and five touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 30 yards. The dominant performance gave Newman a new career-high in rushing yards.
Sevier County pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Newman and Sevier County will take on East Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
