Eastside has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Woodlan Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Eastside won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Saturday. They were the victim of a tough 65-44 loss at the hands of Adams Central. While losing is never fun, Eastside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 350th, while Adams Central is ranked 79th).
Meanwhile, Woodlan got the win against Southern Wells on Friday by a conclusive 66-44. The victory was just what Woodlan needed coming off of a 81-57 defeat in their prior game.
Eastside has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Woodlan, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-7.
Eastside skirted past Woodlan 50-48 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eastside since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
