After a string of six wins, the Nazareth Kingsmen's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 67-59 to St. Joseph. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Tounde Yessoufou continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for St. Joseph, dropping a double-double on 32 points and 12 rebounds. Yessoufou is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Gunner Morinini was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Nazareth's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for St. Joseph, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-2.
Nazareth's road trip will continue as they head out to face Archbishop Molloy at 4:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
