Folsom (Calif.) snapped
Buhach Colony (Atwater, Calif.)'s 7-game winning streak, with a 49-22 victory on Saturday.
The Bulldogs were up 35-6 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter.
Folsom expanded its lead to 43 points entering the fourth quarter. FHS scored two times in the third, including once on a
Bailey Laolagi touchdown run.
A 28-point second quarter helped the Bulldogs secure the big victory. Folsom scored on a touchdown pass by
Jake Browning to
Troy Knox, a touchdown run by Laolagi, a
Harry Lipnosky touchdown run and a defensive touchdown in the quarter.
Shane Bell made a difference for the Thunder. The senior running back kicked two field goals. His performance brought his touchdown total to one on the year.
Laolagi was the top performer for FHS. The sophomore running back ran for two touchdowns and caught one touchdown. He has now scored 15 touchdowns on the season.
The loss comes after Buhach Colony defeated Antelope 35-28 last week.
