After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mohawk Area, Hopewell was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Quaker Valley Quakers with a sharp 10-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Alana Covalt made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
