Salem Baptist Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Garrett Trinkle, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds, and Eli Hedrick who scored 12 points. Trinkle scored a full 33.3% of Salem Baptist Christian's points, the tenth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Brandon Lloyd was another key contributor, scoring three points along with ten rebounds.
Salem Baptist Christian bumped their record down to 0-13 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Hickory Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
