Riverbend has struggled against Courtland recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Riverbend still got an impressive performance from Nate Tyler, who scored 14 points along with 4 steals. Noah Jackson was another key contributor, scoring 5 points.
Riverbend's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Courtland, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Riverbend won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Eastern View at 6:30 p.m. on November 29th. As for Courtland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Massaponax at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Massaponax and Courtland are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
