The Victory Christian Vikings had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against Hamilton by a score of 68-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Hamilton's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kayden Strong, who scored 16 points. Jordan Hernandez-Palafox was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Victory Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Hamilton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Victory Christian will face off against Cristo Rey at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hamilton is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Live Oak at 8:00 p.m. on December 6th.
