With a playoff game on the line, the Northgate Broncos rose to the challenge on Monday. They blew past the Red Devils, posting a 70-36 win at home. The victory was familiar territory for Northgate who now have four in a row.
Northgate's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Grayson Boustead, who scored ten points along with five assists and two steals. Boustead hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Louie, who scored 15 points.
Northgate is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. As for Mt. Diablo, their loss dropped their record down to 3-23.
Northgate won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in California (Benicia is ranked 169th, while the Broncos are ranked 186th). Mt. Diablo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
