Eldon had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Cole Camp on Monday. The Mustangs never let the Blue Birds get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. Considering the Mustangs have won four matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Eldon's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-5. As for Cole Camp, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eldon will face off against Eugene at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cole Camp, they will take on Smithton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Birds' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
