There's no place like home for The Keller Indians, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 34-28 win over Haltom on Thursday. Given Keller's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 109th, while Haltom is ranked 297th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Among those leading the charge was Cameron Rayford, who rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns.
Keller's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Haltom, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-8.
Keller will challenge North Crowley at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. North Crowley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine matches -- so hopefully Keller likes a good challenge. Haltom does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
