Penn is a perfect 8-0 against Elkhart since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Kingsmen will face off against the Lions at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Penn's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last six contests.
Penn is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against La Porte as they made off with an 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Kingsmen, who have now won 16 games by six runs or more so far this season.
Olivia Signorino tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Elkhart duked it out with Warsaw on Saturday. The Lions never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won seven in a row.
Not much got past Laci Stimac, who gave up just four hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Warsaw off the board.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Addison Reid, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Bailey Harris-Rogers also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Penn's record is now 23-4. As for Elkhart, their record now sits at 17-12.
Penn skirted past Elkhart 2-1 when the teams last played back in May. Do the Kingsmen have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
