Quaker Valley entered their tilt with Farrell on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They wrapped up 2024 with a 66-52 victory over the Farrell Steelers.

Quaker Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zach Washington, who went 6 of 11 en route to 21 points. Another player making a difference was Nic Cohen, who posted 16 points.

Quaker Valley's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Farrell, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quaker Valley will host Avonworth at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Farrell, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ursuline at 7:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
