On Sheridan's side, Zach Bales made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). Bales was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Cole Macintosh and Jack Oland did most of the damage at the plate: Macintosh went 4-for-4 with four runs, a triple, and two RBI, while Oland went 2-for-4 with five RBI, a stolen base, and a run.
