On Friday Maryland Freedom take on John Carroll at 7:00 PM. Maryland Freedom are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one.
Maryland Freedom had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They were given a punishing 0-38 defeat at the hands of St. James. Maryland Freedom were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-30.
John Carroll had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 33-26.
John Carroll's win lifted them to 1-0 while Maryland Freedom's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if John Carroll's success rolls on or if Maryland Freedom are able to steal their positive momentum.
