Mandaree suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They took a serious blow against Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky], falling 75-26. While losing is never fun, Mandaree can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] is ranked eighth).
Meanwhile, New Salem came up short against Flasher on Monday and fell 46-37.
Mandaree's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for New Salem, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
