Blountstown never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on the Sneads Pirates with a sharp 7-0 win. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Isaac Roberts made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Roberts wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Jones, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Blountstown was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sneads only posted a batting average of .125.

Blountstown's record now sits at 7-14. As for Sneads, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blountstown will venture away from home to challenge Aucilla Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sneads, they will head out to face off against Wewahitchka at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wewahitchka will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Sneads surely won't give up without a fight.
