The Biglerville Canners's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 44-33 to York Country Day. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Biglerville of the 52-49 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
York Country Day got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaiah White out in front who scored 12 points along with three steals. Ryan Maus was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals.
Biglerville dropped their record down to 2-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for York Country Day, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Biglerville will take on Littlestown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for York Country Day, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Lancaster Country Day at 1:30 p.m.
