Mapletown's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Monessen Greyhounds. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Maples as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Spencer Yeager spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ashton Walker, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Josh Howard was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Mapletown's record is now 3-13. As for Monessen, their loss dropped their record down to 2-16.

As of now, neither Mapletown nor the Greyhounds have any future games scheduled.
