The Grafton Black Hawks made easy work of the Wauwatosa West Trojans on Friday and carried off a 15-4 victory. Considering the Black Hawks have won eight matches by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Grace Zvara was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four RBI. Addi Haessly also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Grafton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.
Grafton's record now sits at 8-10. As for Wauwatosa West, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grafton will venture away from home to square off against West Bend West at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wauwatosa West, they will challenge Wauwatosa East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
