Glenn is 0-6 against Frankenmuth since February of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Glenn Bobcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Frankenmuth Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Glenn entered their tilt with Swan Valley with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Glenn blew past Swan Valley 69-27 on the road on Friday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Glenn has managed all season.
Meanwhile, Frankenmuth came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 72-36 victory over Bridgeport. With Frankenmuth ahead 41-14 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Carson Knoll continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with five assists and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Sommerfield, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Glenn pushed their record up to 13-4 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points per game. As for Frankenmuth, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
Glenn suffered a grim 61-35 defeat to Frankenmuth in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Will Glenn have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
