Bowen had been committed to Notre Dame for nearly a year and initially picked up an Irish hat at his signing day ceremony before setting it down and then selecting the Oregon hat.
The defensive back had five interceptions this season and also contributed in the running game and on special teams for the Wildcats, who went 14-1.
Bowen will be joined on the Oregon defense by Uiagalelei, who was one of 12 players from national champion St. John Bosco to pick his school today.
Uiagalelei had 7.5 sacks and four receiving touchdowns for the Braves, who went 13-1 and finished No. 1 after beating Serra (San Mateo) 45-0 in the CIF Open Division championship on Dec. 10.
