Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran is a perfect 3-0 against DeKalb since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Cadets will head out to take on the Barons at 6:00 p.m. DeKalb took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran, who comes in off a win.

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Huntington North, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Cadets put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 3-0 victory last Wednesday. The Cadets not only won last Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 10, 2024.

While Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 25-18.

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran found their leader in sophomore Aaron Linder, who had four aces.

Meanwhile, DeKalb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Irvington Preparatory Academy.

DeKalb's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran was able to grind out a solid victory over DeKalb in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 2-0. Do the Cadets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Barons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
