Albany dropped down to 5-2 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Family Christian Flames by a score of 12-11. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Flames apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2025.

As for Family Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since March 25, 2025.

For Family Christian's part, the team relied heavily on Sam Stewart, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those four RBI gave Stewart a new career-high. Devyn Baker was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Albany will take on Northlake Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Family Christian, they will face off against Broadmoor at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
