The Wynford Royals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Northmor Golden Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Friday, things could have been worse for Wynford, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 60-43 loss to Mohawk. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Wynford has scored all season.
Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Northmor's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell to Fredericktown 63-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jax Wenger, who scored 18 points along with six assists. Another player making a difference was Grant Bentley, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.
Wynford dropped their record down to 13-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Northmor, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-5.
Wynford came up short against Northmor in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, falling 57-53. Will Wynford have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other basketball content.
