The Roanoke Catholic Celtics can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Thursday. They put the hurt on Chatham Hall with a sharp 36-13 win. The victory was just what Roanoke Catholic needed coming off of a 63-25 loss in their prior matchup.
It was another big night for Mickie O?Herron, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Aaron, who scored six points along with five steals.
Despite the loss, Chatham Hall still got an impressive performance from Priscella Bennsion, who scored seven points.
The victory got Roanoke Catholic back to even at 4-4. As for Chatham Hall, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-5.
Roanoke Catholic will face off against Carlisle at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Carlisle presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Roanoke Catholic in Virginia (Carlisle is ranked 49th, while Roanoke Catholic is ranked 240th). As for Chatham Hall, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lynchburg HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
