The Cross Keys Indians suffered their biggest loss since December 13, 2023 on Friday. They were outmatched by Loganville Christian Academy at home and fell 58-19. That's two games in a row now that Cross Keys has lost by exactly 39 points.
Leading Loganville Christian Academy to victory were Gabie Snell and Ture Kara. Snell scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and six assists, while Kara scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. That's the first time this season that Kara scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Maddie Husband, who scored nine points.
Cross Keys has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Loganville Christian Academy, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cross Keys will square off against Stone Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Stone Mountain has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 9. As for Loganville Christian Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Heritage at 3:00 p.m. on January 27th. Heritage is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
