Rimbey Posts Huge Game in 35-33 Defeat
Starting off the list is Southwestern's Blake Rimbey, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Rimbey rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 165 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 74 yards.
Southwestern is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Rimbey and Southwestern will be playing at home against Greenville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Roark Lewis continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his seventh-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 101 rushing yards. He rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards.
For the year, Lewis has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 147.3 rushing yards per game.

Greyson Brewer Delivers Best Performance of Season
Sadly, Greyson Brewer posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Southwestern over North Mac on Friday. Brewer picked up 105 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 56 yards.
For the season, Brewer has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 23.7 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 4.86 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 48.71 rushing yards.

Cayden Durbin Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
On Friday, Pana got the W thanks in part to Cayden Durbin playing the best football he has all season. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles.
