On Friday, East Columbus are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Sandhills Titans at 7:30 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
East Columbus took care of business in their home opener. They were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Fayetteville Christian 41-6. East Columbus was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, everything went Sandhills Titans's way against Davie Pride last Friday as they made off with a 54-22 win. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Sandhills Titans had established a 54-16 advantage.
Their wins bumped East Columbus to 1-0 and Sandhills Titans to 1-1. East Columbus's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Sandhills Titans defensive front that amassed 6 sacks against Davie Pride, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
