Old Bridge (N.J.) kept up a steady attack all game long to defeat
East Brunswick (N.J.), 35-6, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Knights were up 21-6 at the half.
Old Bridge grew its lead to 29 points entering the fourth quarter. OB scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Tyler Hopman.
East Brunswick's lone touchdown came on a 6-yard run by
Jon Gerhartz in the first quarter.
The Knights came into the game allowing 11.7 points per game.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 34-0 win for Old Bridge.
The win was a nice bounce back for OB, which lost to Hunterdon Central last week, 24-0. The win broke Old Bridge's two-game losing streak.
