It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Dade County Wolverines can now relate to. Their rough 34-14 loss to Commerce on Friday might stick with them for a while. Dade County's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Bryson Shrader threw for 80 yards and a touchdown. Demetrius Walker was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards.
Dade County's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Commerce, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.
Dade County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Commerce will head out on the road to face off against Bryan County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bryan County is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
