Kings Mountain was led to victory by Tucker Robinette and Bradley Floyd. Robinette scored 13 points along with five assists and four steals, while Floyd scored 17 points along with six assists and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Floyd, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Despite the loss, Forestview still got an impressive performance from Alex Helton, who scored 19 points. Helton is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Nico Aguliar, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and three steals.
The win was the third in a row for Kings Mountain, bringing their record for this year to 10-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.7 points per game. As for Forestview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kings Mountain will square off against South Point at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Averaging 62.6 so far this season, South Point's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Kings Mountain better be ready for a challenge. As for Forestview, they will head out on the road to take on Huss at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Huss is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 58.8 points per game.
