On Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Nyack beat Ossining 56-50.
Ossining lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ty'asia Carver, who scored 16 points. Carver continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Nicole Perriott was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 15 rebounds.
The win got Nyack back to even at 1-1. As for Ossining, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Nyack will head out on the road to face off against Mamaroneck at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ossining will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tuckahoe at 5:00 p.m. on December 22nd.
