Falfurrias's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They never let the Idea Academy Titans get on the board and left with a 17-0 win. Ben Benavides was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). In other batting news, Falfurrias got a massive performance out of Andre Cisneros, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Idea Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hebbronville at 7:00 p.m. on March 28th.
