McCook won the last time they faced Cozad and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bison came out on top in a nail-biter against the Haymakers, sneaking past 2-1.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was McCook who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 20-25, 25-12.

McCook found their leader in freshman Emma McConville, who had nine digs and two aces.

McCook has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Cozad, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.

McCook has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Cambridge on the 30th. As for Cozad, they will welcome Ord at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
