Dunkirk barely beat Olean the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Marauders put the hurt on the Huskies with a sharp  13-3 victory on Saturday. Considering the Marauders have won seven contests by more than five  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Josh Lemanski was a  major factor no matter where he played. He  pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in nine consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in April.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Paul Trippy, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. He has been hot, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last seven times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Henry Leone, who  got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
The  win made it two in a row for Dunkirk and  bumps their season record up to 14-2. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4  runs in those games. As for Olean,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 11-5.
 Dunkirk didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  an  11-2  defeat against Hamburg on the 17th. Olean has also already played their next  matchup (against Salamanca), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
