Defiance put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 50-49 win over the Ottawa-Glandorf Titans. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while the Titans are ranked 639th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Defiance pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Ottawa-Glandorf, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Defiance is taking a road trip to face off against Lima Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ottawa-Glandorf, they will be playing in front of their home fans against University School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
