The Choctaw County Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They claimed a resounding 67-5 victory over Millry on the road. That 62 points margin sets a new team best for Choctaw County this season.
Leading Choctaw County to victory were Kamya Straight and India Graham. Straight scored 20 points along with nine steals and five assists, while Graham scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Straight has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jikayla Mosley, who scored six points along with two steals.
The win was the fifth in a row for Choctaw County, bringing their record for this year to 6-9. As for Millry, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Choctaw County will be playing at home against Marengo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Millry, they will head out on the road to take on Southern Choctaw at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
