Owen gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They breezed past the Rosman Tigers to the tune of 35-0. For the Warhorses, this counts as revenge for the 29-27 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Owen is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Cherryville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rosman, they will head out to challenge North Buncombe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
